Participation and Resilience
in Pastoralist Communities
Our interest in participatory processes and pastoralists
were combined in this research project. With financial assistance from
the Social Sciences and
Humanities Research Council of Canada and the International
Development Research Centre, and in-kind assistance from the International
Livestock Research Institute and the Pastoralist
Integrated Support Programme, Lance carried out Ph.D. field research in
Kenya.
