Development of Training
and Capacity Building Programs

Our experience in the development and implementation of training programs includes:

• Numerous NGO training activities carried out through the Northern Ghana Network for Development.
• Development and implementation of training program as the Training Advisor of the Olinga Foundation for Human Development.
• Development of curriculum materials for Women and Rural Economic Development.
• Development of materials for training trainers for CARE Bangladesh.
• Numerous training workshops on facilitation skills and consensus decision making.
• Various training activities for Tehi Ka Tum Organisation.
• Staff training for the NGO New Energy.
• Numerous training and tutoring activities for the NGO Jayuir Foundation.

But capacity building is about much more than training.  Building institutional and community capacity involves not only the skills and capabilities of individuals, but also institutional systems and cultures, physical resources, and supportive environments and partners.  We have a wide variety of experience in the design and implementation of holistic institutional capacity building  and community capacity-building programs:

• Design and implementation of the NGO capacity building program of the Northern Ghana Network for Development

• Unit Committee (local government) capacity building through public accountability initiatives.

• Implementation of human resource development activities aimed at transformation of rural communities in the Guajira, Colombia
